Voilà 2026It’s already well into 2026, and I realize I haven’t posted any updates here yet.
But I haven’t been idle—I took part in my first group exhibition as a photographer in Valras-Plage in March and played at Le Moufettes in Saint-Bauzille-de-Putois with my friend Peter Piek in late January.

On Saturday, April 18, I’ll be playing in Vendargues at my friend Christophe’s place at Alive My Studio, accompanying Monsieur Jack, a multi-instrumentalist who plays a wide range of world instruments (including the doudouk, that Armenian instrument I love) and who will be releasing his new album that very evening.
I then have two concerts this summer in the Cévennes at Raw Power Records, the community studio at La Filature du Mazel, and in Saint Hippolyte du Fort. I’ll tell you more about them very soon.

Otherwise, if you’re planning a photo exhibition or a gig at your place—in your living room, your hall, or your favorite bar! I’m available and up for it! I have a sound system and lighting gear! All I need is an electrical outlet! Keep it in mind!

Here comes summer !

I hope you’re all well and enjoying the end of spring! Just a quick note to let you know that I’ll be playing two bucolic dates this summer:

> I’ll be playing on Saturday June 21 for the fête de la musique in Lodève (France), just before Iaross. Their musical universe really deserves to be discovered, so if you don’t know them yet, this is the perfect opportunity! The evening will be an opportunity to celebrate music in a friendly, festive atmosphere. The full program is available here.

> On Saturday August 02, I’ll be taking in the fresh air and height of the Cévennes at the Filature du Mazel, Val d’Aigoual. The filature is an old silk stocking factory built in the mid-19th century.
Today, it has become a place entirely dedicated to multi-disciplinary creation (live performances, visual arts, music, etc.). I’ve been invited there by Raw Power Records, La Filature’s associative studio, and will have the great pleasure of playing with Telemac and Woodwives.

Who knows, maybe another date will be added to this summer program… I’d be absolutely delighted! By the way, don’t hesitate to let me know if you’d like to invite me to play at your place or in some other unusual venue.

Happy New Year 2025 to you all,
I waited for January to ripen a little before picking my wishes, but we’ve got until the 31st to harvest them, haven’t we? Don’t worry, good resolutions never stick to the calendar.
In 2024, the world danced to a dissonant tune, and I’m afraid that 2025 will follow a similar tempo. And yet, in the midst of the tumult, I wish you bursts of happiness, suspended moments, and a life that sings in tune, between projects that flourish and dreams that blossom.
For my part, I’d like to wish myself a very busy year, with more and more concerts. It’s already off to a great start at the Celtic Pub (isnotapub) in Tarbes on 10 January. Thank you Jean-Louis for your warm welcome! Next stop: Black Out in Montpellier on 20 February, with the excellent Helluvah (thanks to La Fouache Mngmt for the invitation).
And then I might have a surprise: an exhibition of my photos! If all goes well, they could finally escape from Instagram to a tangible place, with real walls and real natural light, somewhere in April if the planets align. Keep your fingers crossed for me, but gently, don’t hurt yourself.

I’ll see you soon on stage, in real life, to share emotions that are more sincere than on the networks.

The next two weekends will be a chance for me to play solo amongst the books.
On Saturday 27 April, I’ll be crossing the border to play in Figueres in Spanish Catalonia, in a ‘Taverne Librairie’. It’s possible that I’ll also be playing the next day, Sunday, at noon, for a last-minute concert in the same region. (To be continued).
And on Friday 03 May at 6pm, I’ll be in western Hérault, at the Maureilhan media library, for a showcase.
I’m always on the lookout for new dates, so don’t hesitate to suggest them to me, or to spread the word.
