ALBUMS
Trouble Fête
12 tracks album,
December 2023
With Trouble Fête, Guilhöm reinvents himself with an uncompromising album that broadens his musical horizons and makes a mockery of style. Twelve compositions inspired by pop, hip-hop, folk, rock, jazz, film and world music. Six songs in French or English, and six instrumental pieces give free rein to the emotions conveyed by the rich arrangements and numerous instruments: double bass, cello, guitars, pianos and keyboards, brass, electronic sequences and more. The result is a veritable sonic voyage, traversing a rich, polymorphous and sometimes melancholy universe, from which a true overall coherence emerges.

SINGLES
Ouessant
Instrumental single,
June 2020
In the midst of confinement, this instrumental piano piece is an invitation to travel and dream. What could be more paradoxical when you’re locked up, dreaming of Ushant, an island beaten by the winds, where the land ends, on the western edge of Europe. The mind still sails when the body remains docked.
Composed and recorded at home on May 3, 2020. Video edited on May 5.
This track is also used in director Quino Gonzalez’s short film Princesse in 2020.

Losing the Link with LODGER
Collaborative project LODGER
On the album “Dry Water”
october 2021
DRY WATER is a collaborative project produced by the 3 musicians of LODGER :
Denis Richard (bass), Japy Lo Pinto (drums, percussion) and Pat Matteis (guitars, keyboards). They call on 12 artists from different backgrounds to write and perform texts with a common theme: the relationship between human beings and nature, and their environment. Six different languages – English, Japanese, Malagasy, Spanish, French and Italian – rub shoulders on the twelve tracks, which feature a wide range of colors and tempos: melancholy acoustic ballads, energized rock, experimental electro or acoustic ambience.
On Losing the Link, one of the album’s most rocking tracks, Guilhöm questions the disintegration of the fundamental link between humans and their environment.
Composition and mix : Pat Matteis, Japy Lo pinto & Denis Richard.
Lyrics : Guilhöm. Artwork : Mayelle.

Squamish
MY TIGER SIDE remix
On the album “Twelve Portraits of a tiger in a suits
october 2016
is the project of guitarist Rémi Saboul (ex Drive Blind, Rinocérose) This purely instrumental project experiments with improvised guitar music using textures borrowed from all kinds of musical currents (jazz, electric music, ambient, electronica, folk, film music, drones, noise, traditional music, soundscapes etc.) In 2016 My Tiger Side invited 12 different artists to reappropriate tracks from the Snowballs EP. The result is a polymorphous album, rich in diverse aesthetics and moods.
Guilhöm revisits the track Squamish, adding rhythm, clarinet and vocals. He also includes a sample of “Red Jacket”, a representative of the Squamish Nation, which expresses alarm at deforestation and the mismanagement of natural resources sacrificed in the name of profit.
Reinterpretation and mix : Guilhöm from the song of My Tiger Side
Lyrics : Guilhöm.
PAST PROJECTS
In the past, in other musical lives … Guilhöm has performed extensively in France (ans also a little in Swtzerland and Spain)
as a singer/vocalist in number of bands, including :
> BRAN TERROR electro dark band, from 2001 to 2012, for whom Guilhöm also produced a stop-motion ‘urbex’ video clip .
In 2021, to mark the band’s twentieth anniversary, “Les Cimes du Desespoir”, a new, previously unreleased track, was composed and recorded. It was a tribute to the work of Emil Cioran.
> IPECACUANA band with two basses and no guitar from 1997 to 2007. An EP and two minis albums were recorded.
The band evolved in the indie hardcore fusion scene of the 2000s, and went on to do some interesting tours and support acts (Sidilarsen, Freedom For King Kong, Mass Hysteria, Marvin…).
